Gee that should be a hoot.

Pity they weren't as lucky as the Bombers and drew Castlemaine.

Well I have asked if I was allowed to take my camera with me what our boys are here in town.
I got the email back telling me that it was okay to do so.
The reason I asked was due to the fact that someone I know went to take some photo's of an event near him and he was kicked out.
So I asked and it is okay on these community days and and family days. So I will get a few shots of the boys here.
One thing to is that they are going to our granddaughters school but we think she will not get too see them because she is in a few years to low.
But I hope that they do as she is looking forwards to seeing them.

We have a little bit of rain today for the start of things here. And in this it is muggy to.
So it will be tomorrow for me to head out to watch them do a training camp for the local kids.

The daughter has just arrived and she has told me that they are at the Old Aero Oval.
This is a big grassed area where a lot of sports is played there each week.
And it so packed out that you have got no chance to park there.
But tomorrow they will be at our mall so this will be packed out to.
There is nothing strange about this as we don't get high profile teams here often.
Then you have got that we were zoned to Richmond many years ago, so the supporter base should be big.
Though I am not saying that this turns to memberships.

The boys were due out at 1.30pm but they were a little late but I honestly don't think anyone really care about that.
There were the usual speaches by the mayor and a few others.
Then Trent was the main speaker for the team and done a good job.
Chris got up and had a few words to say followed by Jack and he had a little to say but it was good to listen to.
Then Jack came back just after he left the microphone to say that Chris had just recently married and that Trent had recently got engged.
Little Kingy had a few words up there and it was real honest and this was good I thought.
Until they bought up Dustin, now here was a man of very few words to his name.
He said what he said and was off again even before you knew he was upp there type of thing.

And after this they done the signing of things and this is when we left as there were too many there and we didn't want them to have to keep saying the same stuff over and over again.
It was so good that they were here and it only brings it to notice that we do need a supporters group up here.
As it was mentioned that we were the old zone for Richmond.
Oh and a couple of big mouthed dopes went walking past calling out go the cats. Well this lasted only the one time as they walk right into the cops.
Who told them to shut the hell up or they would be in trouble.
They thought they were so good doing that and it was good to see their faces go from being smart arse to red as a beetroot.
Totally worth while to see our boy up here. I think there was about the 300 mark there which was good being a work and school day.
After the signing of stuff they were off to the Paddleboat for a ride up or down the Murray River.

I forgot that the biggest cheer went for Jack and close by was Matt Dea got close to jacks cheer.
But this was only because Matt was a local lad from here.
And he to was a person of a few words.
Daniel Jackson was taking photo of the crowd there and a little bit in he passed his camera to Angus and they were seen to be having a good laugh about something that only those 2 will know what.

The wife has facebook and I don't but she showed me the photos that were taken by the club while here.
Low and behold I made it on one of them. I was suprised to see me even if you have to zoom in to see me but I am there.
It was so good to have them here.
My only complaint was that we never got enough prior notice that the dinner on the Monday night was not advetised well enough for us to know.
If we knew we would have gone.
