Jacob Surjan will miss two to three weeks after minor knee surgery

PORT Adelaide vice-captain Jacob Surjan will be sidelined for two to three weeks after having minor surgery on his right knee.

Surjan has been unable to train during the week for the past fortnight because of swelling in his knee, prompting the club’s decision to book the 24-year-old in for surgery.

The arthroscope cleared the dour defender of structural damage and the timing of the operation, with the mid-season break means he could miss just one game.
